Croft Cottage is, quite simply, lovely. Spotlessly clean, crisp white bed linen and soft white towels, beautifully furnished – it has all you need. A good sized garden and parking are a welcome bonus. Easy walking distance to the village centre with a choice of pubs and shops. The glorious coast and bays are all on your doorstep. A thoroughly wonderful stay.

Croft Cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a great location to explore the Yorkshire Coast and Wolds. It is just on the outskirts of Flamborough village with a well stocked co-op and a few shops and pubs. We had a lovely breakfast at Copperfield’s Café on Flamborough main street, very reasonable prices and excellent hosts. Bempton Cliffs are a few minutes away and we really enjoyed watching the puffins and gannets and walking along the cliff top. Sewerby Hall is definitely worth a visit too as is the Lighthouse. Three good sized bedrooms downstairs which were cool during the heatwave. Quality furniture and everything you need for a home from home holiday. We will definitely be back very soon.

The cottage is recently refurbished and is clean and fresh. The carpets are plush and add a touch of luxury. It would make a great couples get away or a family holiday (which is what we had). I’d recommend it. Flamborough where the cottage is based is beautiful.

Lovely stay in delightful upside down cottage in the friendly village of Flamborough. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, nice private garden.
Lots of short walks on the doorstep with fantastic views of Flamborough Head and the lighthouse nearby.
Easy access to Bridlington and local attractions.
“Stunning cottage”
Reviewed in June 2018 – Traveller from Sheffield, Great Britain.
Stunning cottage, beautifully decorated & immaculately clean.
Think the White Company décor… crisp, white, fresh & clean. Loved our few days there.
The owner made sure we were happy with everything & was available for any questions we had. We’ll definitely be booking again over the Summer !
Flamborough is a great base… so many beautiful walks & beaches on your doorstep. Views to die for along the cliff tops from the lighthouse to North Landing. South Landing & Thornwick Bay are also beaches you should visit. Crabbing at the lighthouse beach was lots of fun !!
Bridlington is 5 minutes’ drive away should you have children desperate for slot machine & fun fair !
John Bull Rock Factory is also fun for the children & only costs a few pounds.
Would you recommend this property to other travellers ? Yes

Very comfortable little cottage, few minutes walk from village local pubs / places to eat although the cottage is well equipped for self catering ideal for a family break, also has its own private little garden, not too far from Thornwick Bay & Danes Dyke and Bempton bird sanctuary.
We will visit again !!
“Perfect cottage”

Stunning cottage in a great location. Dog friendly which is always a bonus. The cottage is big enough for a family as there was 4 adults and 2 dogs and we had plenty of room. Beautifully presented with all mod cons and is absolutely spotlessly clean. Darren the owner was very helpful and the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch.
I would highly recommend Croft Cottage and I’m sure we will be back in the future.
“Nice, clean, upside-down house. Well placed for Flamborough village and local attractions”

Property has just been completely refurbished and has everything you would need from a holiday cottage. Close to main B-road but triple glazed so we didn’t find noise a problem. Private parking for one car in the courtyard at the rear. Nice enclosed garden also at rear although weather while we were there ruled that out. If you have children it would also be very safe – fenced in quite high and bolt on gate which small children would not be able to reach. Some good eateries in Flamborough village about 7-8 minute walk. Also walking distance to South Landing, Flamborough Head (two good cafes) and closest beach is Danes’ Dyke.
Bridlington a very short drive (or you can take the bus from outside) and Filey a little further – both with miles of sand beaches. Bridlington also has a large indoor pool if you get stuck with the usual assortment of British weather. Local stately homes are Sledmere House, Burton Agnes and Burton Constable Halls.
Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend ? Yes.
